Okay, so one of my first forays into the world of gray hair is to find a good shampoo. I did some research and decided that the best were shampoos that actually deposit a violet color to the hair. Some shampoos marketed for gray hair don’t deposit any color, they just attempt to “brighten” the hair. I think just about any good clarifying shampoo would brighten. What I want is to really make the gray pop. So, here I go into the world of violet hair. I’m really not ready to be an old lady with blue hair, but I understand the theory behind using violet to counteract the hair starting to look faded and yellow. So, I’m going to try Loreal’s Colorist Collection White Violet Color Shampoo and see what happens.
