Queen–It’s a New Day!

More than 150 women from all walks of life received a day of pampering and
relaxation this Spring, as they got to be queen for a day in Lynnwood, Washington!
The Queen–It’s a New Day is held twice a year at the Embassy Suites in Lynnwood. Founded by Pastor Judy Hoff, who is also a Noevir Consultant, the program offers a day of free makeovers for women in shelters and transitional housing including new clothing, accessories, hairstyles, manicures and makeup. The women were also honored with a red-carpet greeting, a five-course luncheon and were able to participate in several motivational workshops all created to give these women the boost and encouragement they need to start a new life.
Noevir was also represented at this event, with numerous consultant volunteers from the Washington area as well as our very own Business Development Associate, Erin Nomura. We all felt a special bond with the women we were working with, Erin says. It was such an amazing experience to be a part of this major transformation.
As one of the sponsors of this event, Noevir donated $30,000 worth of product gifts and donations and provided free makeovers for the women at eight different makeup stations. Noevir also held an Ultimate Relaxation skincare workshop, and an encouraging keynote speech was given by Presidential Diamond Director Eunice Edwards. For our contributions to the event, a plaque was awarded to the company, accepted on stage by Erin.
The event’s grand finale was a rose ceremony, where the women got to declare their queen for a day status on stage, showing off their new looks and newfound self- esteem. It truly was a new start for women trying to get their lives back on track, as they celebrated the first day of the rest of their lives!
