I’ve worn my hair long for quite some time and was finally ready for a change. I was looking at different hairstyles and it occured to me that if I was going to cut it all off I ought to donate it to Locks of Love. They provide hair pieces to children who have lost their hair due to illnesses.

I think my hairdresser was more nervous about cutting all my hair off than I was. Once she pulled the hair into a ponytail and started to cut it off she said, “I’m sorry I have to cut it like this!”

But I’m left with a fantastic new bob which is just exactly what I wanted. Amelia used a product called Manipulator by Bead Head to add control and shape to my natural curls. Just a tiny dab of Manipulator does a great job of adding a bit of gloss and taming frizz.

I’m thrilled with the new hairstyle and with the opportunity to help out Locks of Love.
